How do you keep your quotes? Do you underline directly on the book? Do you write them down somewhere on a notebook which gets lost? Do you take a picture on the phone? Or maybe a combination of those and some more?

As a compulsive reader, I always find it hard to keep quotes filed under the same parameters and at the same place, so I created this app to solve a real struggle in my everyday life.

Guillemet gives you the chance to keep your quotes organized, but the special feature is the ability to generate a graphic visualisation of the content. You can choose a mood inspired by the theme of the quote, some colour parameters and – boom! There you go: your quote gets graphic.

You can choose between different options to share the content, download it as a phone background, or simply keep it to stare at it as long as you whish.

The name comes from the french guillemets, a pair of punctuation marks in the form of sideways double chevrons, « and », used as quotation marks in a number of languages.
